Smores dessert. We made this while meemaw was visiting last week. :)

Alysha's new border in her room. It is textured. It looks great! We have been looking since before Shay was born. We painted the bottom of the wall a pretty green color. The top half was already wallpapered a cream color before we moved there, so cream it stays. :)

I want that s'mores dessert recipe! It looks delicious!
smores bars
1 pkg ref chocolate chip cookie dough
1/4 c. graham cracker crumbs
3 c. mini marshmallows
1/2 c. semi sweet or milk choc chips
2 tsp. shortening
1. let dough stand at room temp for 15 min. preheat oven 350. grease 13/9 pan. press dough into prepared pan. sprinkle evenly with graham crackers
2. bake 10- 12 min. sprinke with marshmallows. bake 2-3 min or until marshmallows are puffed. cool completely
3. Combine chocolate chips and shortening in small resealable food storage bag. Microwave HIGH 1 min. knead bag. Microwave for additional 30 sec intervals until chips and butter are completely melted and smooth. cut off corner of bag. Drizzle over bars. refrigerate 5 - 10 minutes or until chocolate is set. cut into bars.
I added twice as much graham cracker crumbs. 1/4 did not look like you could even taste it. :) it was good!! Also, you don't necessarily have to melt the chocolate that way. You could melt it in a bowl or on the stove and drizzle it over the bars. whatever is easier. :) Be careful NOT TO BURN the chocolate in the microwave.
Yay! This is so going into the family reunion cookbook. Along with your picture of it :).
thank goodness! that looks awesome!
That dessert was YUMMY!! It was really sweet though. I had one little square and man, it was good!!!!
